Employer

The employer is the company or the person who undertakes, by means of an apprenticeship contract, to train a learner to perform the tasks associated with a given occupation in accordance with good business practice. In small and medium-sized companies, it is often the boss who provides apprenticeship training and thus assumes the role of VET trainer.
