Disciplinary regulations

VET schools, branch course commissions and boards of examiners publish regulations or guidelines concerning absences and disciplinary matters. The regulations concerning absences lay down in particular the cases of justified or unjustified absences as well as the manner in which the school’s administration should deal with learners in such cases. The disciplinary regulations list the measures that may be taken against an apprentice, for example, if the person has failed to heed internal regulations. In any event, the apprentices must be heard before a disciplinary measure can be taken against them.
