Absences from the VET school

Attendance of the VET school is compulsory and absences must be justified. Sanctions may be levied for unjustified absences in accordance with cantonal provisions.

The learner should not be absent from classes due to constraints that are related to activities at the host company. The VET school rules on exceptions and the cantonal authority decides in cases of broader exemptions. The relevant provisions are laid down in the VET school‘s regulations.
