QualBC

Art. 8 of the Federal Vocational and Professional Education and Training Act (VPETA, SR 412.10) stipulates that providers of upper-secondary-level vocational education and training (VET) or tertiary-level professional education are responsible for quality improvement. Within the Swiss VET sector, the QualBC tool has been created for the purpose of enabling branch training centres and their partners to assess the quality of branch courses. The QualBC application is optional but recommended by the SBBK and professional organisations. A quality management system other than QualBC may also be used.
