Maximum number of learners

For each VET programme, the corresponding VET ordinance indicates the number of persons who can be trained based on the number of professionals employed by the host company. The maximum number depends on the specific requirements of the occupation and the number of professionals who work on a full-time basis for the company. The cantonal VET office issues rulings on possible exceptions.
