Learning institution

This is a collective name to designate providers of vocational and professional education and training (e.?g. VET schools and occupational training centres). A learning institution designs and offers courses for both upper-secondary VET and tertiary-level professional education and can also organise the qualification procedures or certain parts of them. A learning institution may offer programmes outside of its premises (e.?g. distance learning).
